Ingredients

Welcome to my gallery of Khmer Krom ingredients. These are few basic ingredients that we love to cook with hope it will help you familiar with our ingredients.
Back home, most Khmer Krom ingredients are homemade.

Here, I bought all these ingredients from the Asian market, and don't be surprise when you see that our Khmer Krom names are labels on some of ingredients that are made in Vietnam, Thailand or China. Khmer Krom are famous for Chau Doc Coconut milk , Mam, and Pahok. Phu Quoc island for fish sauce, My Tho for Noodles, and many more from other Khmer Krom provinces.

Most of famous food are from Khmer Kampuchea Krom now know as South Viet Nam. Khmer Krom are suffering from Vietnamese control and we are too poor to produce, or promote our Khmer Krom products.
Have fun cooking Khmer Krom recipes!
    Thanks,
    Mylinh Nakry
